Ballard High School Cheerleading

Please welcome Ballard's new Program Director & Red Head Coach, Amber Torres! Amber has been the Head Coach at Lynnwood High School for the last five years and put their competition program on the map. Amber was a collegiate dancer at Cal and has both competed and coached All-Star Cheerleading. She also currently works at Connect All Stars in Bellevue. We are so lucky to have such a talented coach join our program. 

Samantha Burnstead has been Ballard's Program Director & Head Coach for the last six seasons. This year, she will be taking a step back and just be head coaching Black as she welcomes her first daughter to the family this summer. Samantha has coached five teams to WIAA State Titles & is has had both Finalists & Semi-Finalists in the UCA D1 Tumbling Divisions. Samantha cheered at Boise State University and has a strong background in elite gymnastics and competitive cheerleading.

Paige Snider has been an Assistant Coach at Ballard for the last five seasons. Paige has been a part of the coaching staff for three WIAA State Titles and both UCA D1 Tumbling Finalist & Semi-Finalist teams. Paige is a Head Instructor with UCA for the last nine years and has been a part of Core Staff for two seasons. Paige was also a Captain for the University of Washington's Co-Ed Cheerleading Team.
